Kaya Konopnicki is passionate about events. It all started with a volunteer position as the Co-Chair of Special Events with the Canada Wide Science fair in 2003. From there she worked for GAPS the Prop Shop, Decor & More, and Science Alberta Foundation.

In 2009 she started Engaged Events. She has planned the Inglewood Sunfest and is now the lead planner for the Sun & Salsa Festival and the Marda Gras Street Festival. It’s her dream to one day work on an Olympic Games.
